about
The simplest in concept track on the album, this is my attempt to musically recap the events from the Eclipse at the end of the Golden Era arc of Berserk, giving voice to Griffith, the God Hand, and Guts. This track is additionally a bit more straightforward musically, not utilizing a whole lot of noise or discordant elements, if at all. Instead, I drew a bit more from my OSDM and dissonant/tech death influences, such as Demilich, Gigan, and Portal.
lyrics
Tongue severed, left impotent,
A dream meaningless after you left.
A disgusting creature, have I become?
For two long years this name has echoed in these walls.
Egg of Divine Ruler!
Claim your rightful heir!
Let us begin the chant of offering.
A kingdom paved by millions of dead,
Their bodies fertilizing long-dried soil.
Many more are needed for your reign,
All you need is recite the words, and power will be yours...
Vous…
Parmi tout les milliers de camarades et des dizienes de milliers d’ennemis,
vous, et vous seulement, avez obscurci la vision de mon rête.
Je sacrifie.
Arm severed, eye gouged out,
My love taken before me, a family sacrificed.

PSA: if there was an album you heard a couple years ago and thought it was ok, listen to it again and you might love it.
That's what happened to me with this album. I cannot fathom why it didn't stick with me back then. Same thing happened with Decoherence's Unitarity for that matter. Matten
